Engimatt City & Garden Hotel Zurich

We recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area. Despite being just outside the city centre, we were pleased to find that it was only a short walk to a nearby train station. There was also a shopping centre within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient.

Great facilities and comfortable rooms. The hotel had a tennis court for those interested in sports and also had an arrangement with a nearby gym. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, making it easy to access various attractions and amenities in the area.

The size of the rooms varied and some were quite small. The sound isolation within the hotel was not very good, that noise from neighboring rooms could be heard.

The hotel is located in a quiet area away from the busy city center, but still within a 20-minute walk to both the city center and the lake. There is also a big shopping mall right around the corner, making it convenient for guests. Additionally, there is a direct tram connection to the airport, which is a great advantage for travelers.

The bathroom facilities in the hotel could be improved; some guests mentioned that the bathrooms were tight and unimpressive.

During my recent stay at Engimatt City & Garden, I was actually surprised by the warm welcome and efficient check-in process. The bar area was inviting, and the service was excellent. My club sandwich was delicious, and the mango mousse was a good surprise. The spacious room provided a comfortable night's sleep, and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choices. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a nice perk. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was great, very close to public transportation and a shopping complex. The rooms weresuper clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. The staff, especially those in the restaurant and at the reception, were very helpful and friendly.

One major issue was the poor air conditioning in the rooms. It was centrally set and did not cool the room enough, making it uncomfortable to sleep in.

The hotel is conveniently located just a quick walk to the tram which took you everywhere. It is also situated in a residential area about 20 minutes walk away from the old quarter of the city. the staff were extremely helpful, providing maps and local information.

One guest had an issue with the key-card not working when placed near a mobile phone.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The design of the hotel was modern and spacious, and it was impeccably clean. The terrace of the restaurant offered a beautiful view. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was large and provided plenty of space for our three-year-old to play. The bathroom was excellent, with both a shower and a bathtub, making it convenient for our family to shower at the same time. The Nespresso machine in the room was a great addition. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was situated in a pleasant district of the city and very close to a tram station, allowing us easy access to transportation, including a direct train to the airport. the breakfast provided was satisfactory, and the hotel provided complimentary water bottles and a kettle on request.

Really good service and spacious, clean rooms. The staff were really good too ensure a positive experience. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a variety of fresh fruit and cereals. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions. The tranquil terrace was perfect for relaxing with a drink. I highly recommend this hidden treasure!

We had such a fantastic stay at this place! The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, yet it's within close walking distance to a shopping center. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean, with all the amenities you could ask for - ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. The balcony view of the beautiful, quiet garden was a lovely touch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our check-in and check-out experience smooth. We also appreciated the available services such as room service, car hire, and laundry. we had a peaceful and luxurious experience at this hotel, and we highly recommend it to anyone.

I recently stayed at Engimatt City & Garden Hotel for a few days while on a business trip to Switzerland. My stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options, and I loved that I could eat outside in the summer. The location was convenient, with several stations nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and had modern amenities. I also appreciated the fast wifi, which allowed me to watch videos on Youtube. Highly recommended!
